Pre-Fabricated Rebar Connections for Wall-Floor Links.
Concrete rebar connection beams are pre-fabricated in various configurations, sizes, and spacings to link walls and floors.
These connection systems can be designed as “corner cages,” serving as quick building blocks for reinforcing connections between different building features. This approach allows for fast reinforcement placement on-site.
Application and Components
These pre-fabricated cages act as starter bars. They are designed with a specific lap length to effectively tie against or connect to adjacent reinforcement bars or mats.
The connection links typically consist of a C-link (reinforcement shape code 21) often combined with a closed stirrup. For manufacturing efficiency, these stirrups can frequently be bent as a single combined stirrup unit.

The SKEW JIG System uses colored reference markers and precise grips to quickly position all components (C-links and stirrups) for the wall-floor connection beam. This system ensures every cage is accurately spaced and dimensioned, allowing workers to rapidly tie or weld the entire prefabricated unit for maximum on-site efficiency.
Examples of the Bench Setup for these cages:
The SKEW JIG System is highly adaptable, enabling all versatile cage designs shown in the section views (below) to be assembled both fast and with high accuracy. This adaptability extends to many more edge cages, which can be assembled in any given spacing.
