SKEW Has developed a strong reinforcement JIG System specially for heavy mesh panels.
A unique adjustable JIG platform, designed to support the reinforcement in the desirable rebar diameters and spacing. The first and the second layer of reinforcement can be swapped, for optimal flexibility.
The SKEW Engineers can customize and enhance this JIG platform for your heavier reinforcement meshes. We can include splice areas, double bar gripping locations and supports for reinforcing bar couplers.
With a maximum load capacity of +500kg/m2, this JIG System is ideal for heavy bars ranging from diameter 16 to 40mm.
The Heavy Mesh JIG System is compatible with automated reinforcement welding or robotic welding. With an exact reinforcement placement thus a predetermined bar to bar location and an unique fixed “0-plane” between the first and second layer, the actual reinforcement bar position and coordinates are programmable or traceable.
